# Updating a Kiosk Version

# Refreshing and updating a kiosk
Kiosks are digital display screens you manage remotely - perfect for lobbies, reception areas, and shared spaces. This guide walks you through updating a kiosk when update notifications appear on devices or if they are generally available .

## Before you start

* You need site-admin access to the site where the kiosk will be installed.

##  Kiosk updates

From time to time we update the software that supports kiosks, when we do this some kiosk types require remote refreshes. To do this follow the below flow;

1. **Open** the **Kiosks** page from the **Site Configuration** menu under **Digital Signage**.
2. **I**f you **Kiosk** requires an update a notification pill will appear in the **Version** column to let you know a new version is available.
3. **Click** the **Apply update** button found on the right hand side of the table menu for that **Kiosk.**
4. Your **Kiosk** will update remotely to the latest version.
