Schedule and manage announcements


Not every announcement needs to go live right now. You can schedule one to publish at a future date, set an expiry so it disappears on its own, or archive it when it is no longer relevant.


Before you start


  • You need permission to create and manage announcements at your site.


Schedule an announcement for later


  1. Navigate to the Announcements page and click Create Announcement.


  1. Fill in the title, category, description, scope, and dates as you normally would.


  1. Set a Publish At date and time for when you want the announcement to go live.


  1. Click Save as Draft. The announcement will publish automatically at the scheduled time -- no need to come back and press a button.


Set an expiry date


  1. Open an announcement (draft or published) and click Edit.


  1. Set the Expires At date and time. After this point, the announcement will no longer appear in the active list for occupants.


  1. Save your changes. The announcement will be removed from view automatically when it expires, without you needing to archive it manually.


Archive an announcement


  1. Open the published announcement you want to retire.


  1. Click Archive. The announcement is removed from the active list for occupants.


  1. Find archived announcements later using the Archived filter on the announcements list.


Filter and manage your announcements


  1. Use the status tabs on the Announcements page to switch between active, draft, and archived announcements.


  1. Use the category filter to narrow the list to specific types, such as events, alerts, or maintenance.
